Q:What is the restriction on learning Lore again?
A:To learn levels 4 and 5 of a lore you must have a teacher for each dot.
To learn lvl 4 - I need 4 teachers.
To learn lvl 5 - I need 5 teachers.
The TU requirement is the same - so 2 TU per teacher.

A:You must grapple your foe first.

Q:Can you scan for wraiths or Astral?
A:Yes, by the book you must spend a mental before making the test. This allows you to sense Wraiths and Astral aura's. You can not tell who\what the aura belongs to.

Q:How do the bonuses from these Disciplines work?
A:By the book, one person gets a bonus - the person with the higher level. That bonus is equal to the difference between the two characters' maximum level of the two Disciplines.
Example: A has Auspex 2, B has Obfuscate/Chimerstry 1 = A gets 1 Bonus Trait on ties.
Or
A has Auspex 1, B has Obfuscate/Chimerstry 5 = B gets 4 Bonus Traits on ties.

A:Yes, if you make eye contact with the dominator you can be dominated. It does not matter if he can see your eyes or not.

A:This is a game. We strive to make it as realistic as possible, but not at the risk of over complication, and game balance.

Q:Do I have to make the hand signals?
A:Yes, you must use the proper hand signals. I know it can seem silly but it does help relegate things. If your PC "Scans for obfuscate every time he enters a room" then I expect to see you scanning for obfuscate every time you enter a room.

Q:What is the Nos Rule?
A:In order to prevent players from breaking character in designated IC area's, a rule was made allowing Nosferatu to take anything heard in IC area's said OOC back in IC as a "rumor" they heard. The excuse for this is, Nosferatu hear things.
At the primary game site of the CMU the OOC area's are outside smoking area, the hallways, and the main check in area.
The IC area's are everywhere else. Basically when at game stay in character and you won't have to worry about it.

A:No. It is just a rumor mill.

A:the +2 bonus from Enchanting voice gets added in anytime you use your voice. Such as Dominate, Entrancement, Melpomene etc.
It would not work for things like Dread Gaze, and Majesty.

A:No, you can't have magic. Period.
